CakeBoss Cloud is a software service. The price of the first year is $149.00(USD). All following years are only $20.00 per year. That’s less than $2 per month.
Yes. Because your data is stored online in a secure “cloud” location, the storage must be re-purchased on an annual basis for the nominal fee of $20.00 USD.
The annual fee is not auto-billed. On your anniversary date, you will be given a 7 day grace period to continue logging in to your account. After the 7 day grace period ends, you will be prompted to come current on your hosting fee in order to access your account. Accounts not paid within 90 days of renewal date will be presumed to be cancelled, and will be deleted. Of course, we’ll never delete an account without doing our best to notify you first.
Upgrades and future versions of CakeBoss may be offered to current users for a fee.

CakeBoss Cloud is not a downloadable program, it is something you log into from a web browser. CakeBoss Software is exclusively available on CakeBoss.com. If you download something claiming to be CakeBoss Software from another site, it is likely inoperable and loaded with viruses and spyware. We offer a 30-day money back guarantee with your purchase so there is no risk if you change your mind and decide it’s not for you.
CakeBoss is extremely intuitive and user friendly. There is no manual to read before you get started. You will be entering your customers, orders, and recipes within minutes of downloading. We provide online “How-To” videos to help you start out, and we are always available by email to answer questions. We are cake decorators too, and we listen to and care about our users!
Not in the traditional sense. CakeBoss is a unique organizational and pricing software designed to help home bakers get organized, track their costs and profits, and price their goods accurately. CakeBoss’s recipe costing, pricing, organizational, and calendar features are custom-tailored to the home baker, and simply are not found in traditional accounting software.

Yes! CakeBoss comes pre-loaded with standard imperial and metric measurement conversions.
Although CakeBoss was designed for the home baker, we have users who are shop owners who have been greatly helped by CakeBoss’s recipe costing, pricing, and calendaring features. However, CakeBoss does not duplicate the functions of traditional accounting software.
Your $149.00 purchase is for one login, but additional employee logins may be purchased for $25.00 each.
Yes! CakeBoss contains settings for many global currencies, and if we don’t currently support yours, in most cases we can add it the same day.
Yes. CakeBoss Cloud uses Google Translate to translate the program to other languages, and we also allow users to enter their own translations if the Google translation is incorrect.
No. CakeBoss accounts are not transferable, and the original owner always retains password and login privileges.
