It sounds like you may have some adware or spyware on your computer. Running a good anti-virus program like Windows Defender, or a free program like Spybot Search & Destroy can help with this. The only pop-ups we deliver in CakeBoss Cloud are program-related, like asking you to confirm an action, or maybe a news item when you log on. There are NO ADS in CakeBoss Cloud. 

There are two reasons an ingredient cost will display as 0.00. One is if the calculated cost is less than 0.01. The other is if you used a measurement that doesn’t exist. If your price is 0.00, it should display in red font. If you hover your mouse over it or tap on it, there will be a popup message telling you the cause for the 0.00 cost.  If you need a refresher course on how to add ingredients to recipes, please check out this video on our Youtube channel

When you add a brand new ingredient to CakeBoss Cloud, it only contains weight:weight conversions, because every ingredient has unique weight:volume conversions. The easiest way to create a new ingredient with weight:volume conversions is to make a copy of an existing master ingredient that is similar in weight density. Or you can send us an email at support@cakeboss.com and let us know the weight:volume conversions for your desired ingredient, and we can add it as a master ingredient. This could potentially be a browser issue.  Consider using our recommended internet browser, Chrome.

 There are a couple of other reasons you may not see your information.  

 1.      Your data may be filtered (you may have searched for something on that screen previously). This is demonstrated in the red box on top of this screenshot. If you see the yellow “Clear Search” button, click it, and your data will reappear. Watch a quick video demonstrating!

2.      You may be on a different page. In the yellow box on the bottom of the screenshot, you can see the page view is on “1” and there are arrows on either side. You can try clicking either the forward or backward arrows to return to the page with your data.
